    1. Well, I can't say I remember that moment - but it's sweet to see as only one of us in that photo are living today.

    1. I just turned 64, Pat. And I'm not embarrassed to tell my age. I tell myself to remember that my mom was 29 when she died unexpectedly. By the grace of God, I've have been given the opportunity to live more than twice as long as she did. That's something to be grateful for, not ashamed of.

  32. It is amazing how quickly life has traveled, isn't it? There is something about a black and white photo that cries out nostalgia doesn't it?

  33. You are so right. Also the older you get the faster time goes by. In retirement months go by as fast as weeks used to which went by as fast as a day as a child.

  35. What a sweet old photo. Hey, are you guys petting a sheep?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yep.
I don't remember it, but I've been told we had several sheep. I'm not sure why - nobody I know spun wool, and my father would no more kill and butcher a sheep than he would fly a kite in an electric storm!!!
